      1. One Book, One Campus, One Community mural project – The mural painting is under way, with students working on it two days each week.
      2. Art for Veterans Resource Center –$4000 has been set aside as an initial allocation for a mural. A mural proposal is needed with the following information:
        1. The total cost of the mural project
          1. How much should be painted? That would determine the
          2. Art on Campus can set a target price
          3. Propose what we think is best?
        2. Who will design, prep the surface and paint the mural?
          1. Ideally have a professional artist who is a veteran who would work with DA students.
          2. How much say over the imagery does the VRC want?
          3. Do open call or campus-only?
          4. Who would be involved?
          5. Style – text, representational, symbolic
          6. Should the environment be painted?
          7. Recommended communicating with Nazy Galoyan
          8. Outline a basic schedule once an artist is selected
          9. Scope of work could define what surface the mural is painted on
          10. What ongoing maintenance is needed?
          11. Need projected start date

        4. Determine the location of the mural within the Veterans Resource Center
          1. Have a meeting with Rob Mieso and Nazy Galoyan to get their view
          2. Get location and target cost estimate
            1. Measure square footage to get basic estimate – Diana and Julie will do as soon as Thursday March 3

          4. Flagpole may not go in, leaving space for more artwork

            1. Have a meeting with Rob and Nazy Monday March 14 from 8:30-9:00am

      3. Cleaning existing art
        1. Need to determine who can perform the work, and solicit quotes as needed
          1. Turtle, Two as One, Time Graffiti - Diana Argabrite will attempt to contact the Time Graffiti artist about how to clean the work.
          2. VPAC benches – The wood benches need Diana Argabrite will inspect benches and make a recommendation. Sanding and refinishing needed for wood benches. Need to address if this is a union issue. Cost of materials could be included or need to be supplied. Daniel will do work order for benches.
          3. Power washing – Not within the scope of work of the Sculpture Technician, Alyssa VanZandt. We could offer overtime for the work. Daniel Smith will see what funds we can access. There can also be environmental It may be possible that Maintenance can do it Daniel will follow up.
      4. New public art courses
        1. Muralism (Eugene Rodriguez) – No final version of the course is ready
        2. Sculpture class –Julie Hughes contacted PT Sculpture faculty on 1/28/22 but none indicated they wanted to write the course. Julie Hughes will write an outline of the course.
    2. New projects
      1. Refresh art in campus display cases in Campus Center, Library
        1. Task committee members with the work
        2. Set goals for timing and scope
        3. Student art is owned by the campus, so no permission is needed
        4. Where to start first
          1. Start with campus center
            1. Hallway where meeting rooms are the oldest
            2. Fireside room is bare, but wait until current maintenance work is completed
          2. Library – only the first floor is accessed normally, so begin there
          3. Lloyd promised to purchase items from shows held at Euphrat (including common ground images). There are 7 prints.
      2. Move items from where they are now
        1. Move Liberty (in Admin building lobby)
        2. Move African textiles from Library
        3. Circa $39 per hour for people to hang art
      3. Find time to review hallway with Diana and Julie
