Promotion of equity-minded initiatives, events and activities, through department collaboration with student workers throughout campus
Showcase equity work in specific events that highlights equity practitioners and the work being completed. Use of calendar invites as way to garner participation to highly recommended participation.

Spring 2024
Use of MS365 Forms for collection of application for Equity Champion awards from departments and divisions across the campus.
Started equity plan tracking spreadsheet to track progress towards meeting the key areas of focus in the plan.
Culmination of Partners in Learning Advocacy Series in the Partners in Learning Conference which was open to all DA employees and promoted Quick News and via emails, with its own webpage.
Fall 2024
-Feature department and program equity work on website, and submit accomplishments to the Office of Communications for possible broader promotion.
Office of Equity will also work with the Office of Communications to utilize the submissions from the equity inventory to develop a webpage to track the implementation of Equity Re-Imagined goals.
-Provide periodic college-wide reports on the state of equity
Have discussion and plan for a quick notes section featuring equity updates and an updates/timeline page tracking the implementation of Equity Re-Imagined goals. Use Opening Day as an opportunity to provide an equity update from the Dean of Equity and Engagement.
Include regular equity updates in college publications
-EAC will plan the collection and submission of equity work to the Office of Communications. EAC will also begin to develop an ongoing mechanism for the campus to provide feedback/input on their equity work. A liaison from the council will work with the Office of Communications to create a section in the Quick Notes specific to equity work/updates.
Winter 2025
Begin periodic college-wide reports on the state of equity. Use the opportunity to request support/resources; as requested/required attend College Council meetings to engage in meaningful dialog concerning equity efforts. Develop a mechanism for the campus to provide feedback/input on their equity work.
Provide annual updates to College regarding the implementation efforts of the equity plan.

State of Equity at the DA Opening Day to celebrate equity progress and to set the vision and course for the academic year.
Support the Curriculum Committee in developing an equity review process for evaluating Course Outlines of Record in keeping with Title 5 updates centered on equity and accessibility.
Evaluate faculty needs surrounding equity-focused professional development training and opportunities (through office hours, surveys, conversations, and other communications) and collaborate with the Office of Professional Development and Office of Online Education to collaboratively provide these offerings.
Partner with the Office of Institutional Research and the Office of Professional Development to understand equity gaps for disproportionately impacted communities, and present this information to a subset of instructional departments (Partners in Learning 2.0).
Winter 2026
Develop a Canvas shell that incorporates the equity resources, practices, language, and communities of practice as a repository for engagement and learning.
Support the Curriculum Committee in revising their equity review process for evaluating Course Outlines of Record in keeping with Title 5 updates centered on equity and accessibility, and begin annual review of Course Outlines of Record using this process.
