Take an Ethnic Studies Class This Winter!
Take Ethnic Studies! These classes satisfy De Anza’s ICS course requirement for an associate degree and are now offered through new departments. Be sure to look for classes with the prefix AFAM (African American Studies), ASAM (Asian American and Asian Studies), CETH (Comparative Ethnic Studies), CHLX (Chicanx and Latinx Studies) and NAIS (Native American and Indigenous Studies), in addition to the prefix ICS (Intercultural Studies).

Vax Proof Required to Register for On-Campus Classes in Winter Quarter
You should submit proof of your final vaccination for COVID-19 at least three days before you plan to register for any on-campus class this winter.
- You will not be able to register for any on-campus classes until your vaccination record has been verified.
- If you already submitted your record for fall quarter, you don't need to submit again for winter.

Protect Yourself from Phishing and Online Scams
Follow these steps to avoid falling for phishing and online scams:
- Never provide your personal or financial information in response to a request that you didn't expect.
- Resist the pressure to act immediately.
- Never pay someone who insists you pay by gift card or money transfer service. And never deposit a check and send money back to someone.
- Do not click on any links if an email looks suspicious.
- Stop and talk to someone you trust before you do anything else.
