Join Rising Scholars, the Equity and Engagement Division and the Office of Professional Development for a film screening of the PBS NewsHour documentary “Searching for Justice: Life After Lockup.” The film focuses on the many challenges individuals face after incarceration, from reconnecting with family to finding work and staying out of jail.
The screening will be followed by a panel of students, alumni, faculty members, staff and administrators who will share their experiences with incarceration and the criminal justice system. Stop by the Multicultural Center activity area next Wednesday, March 13, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. to learn how you can help formerly incarcerated and otherwise justice-impacted students.
